Wild Voatsiperifery Pepper
Voatsiperifery (Piper borbonense) is one of the rarest peppers in the world. It grows wild in the tropical rainforests of southeastern Madagascar, climbing trees up to 20 meters high.

Harvesting is done exclusively by hand by experienced collectors who climb the trees. This difficult harvest explains its rarity and price. Each grain is a treasure of Malagasy biodiversity.
